I am a 29-year-old adventure photographer based in Tromsø, Norway. I consider myself a sociable person who enjoys collaborating with others. Growing up in Bleik, a small village overlooking the open ocean and surrounded by mountains, I developed a deep connection to nature from an early age. Over the past five years, I have transformed my adventures into work, and my work into adventures.
Since 2019, I have been fortunate to be part of the Barba.no crew, participating in expeditions to places like Svalbard, Iceland, and the Faroe Islands. Our work has focused on highlighting the Arctic’s vulnerability to climate change and pollution, in collaboration with various universities, and creating stories for major outlets like National Geographic, written by my good friend Hugh Francis Anderson. Together with Hugh, I have also shot adventure and travel stories for magazines such as Red Bulletin, Mpora, and Country Life, making our skiing and hiking dreams a reality. While living in Tromsø, I have worked commercially for Norwegian brands such as Alfa sko and Helsport, all while pursuing full-time studies to become a teacher. In recent years, I have also developed a passion for filmmaking, discovering a new way to tell stories.
My dream is to combine my skills in photography and teaching to create a powerful tool for guiding the next generation in the right direction.
